Safe to Travel
Taipei ranked the third safest city of 142 cities according to the Crime Index 2022, compiled by Numbeo, and ranked the 19th best city for personal safety and security worldwide 2021, according to The Economist's Intelligence Unit. Most visits to Taipei are trouble-free. The city has only a low incidence of petty crime and is considered safe; all forms of public transport are generally safe.
All major road signage has English translations; thus international visitors will never get lost. Taipei’s police force is also well trained, professional, and helpful towards foreigners from all over the world. In addition, there are over 9,000 convenience stores open 24-hours a day all round Taipei, thus whenever tourists or visitors experience any trouble, they can seek help anytime.
ATD has recognized Chailease’s Talent development achievements with Excellence in Practice Awards for 4 times since 2013.
